Tier 3 Title Upgrade

Effective immediately, Specialist Physicians from countries classified under Tier 1 or Tier 2 in the PQR – Recognized Specialty Certificates Table are ineligible to apply for a Title Upgrade to consultant under Tier 3. To qualify for the Title Upgrade under Tier 3, candidates’ countries must fall under Tier 3 only.

Egyptian Masters Degree

All Physicians who obtained their master’s Qualifications from Egypt:

Effective immediately, it is mandatory that your Certificates or Letters clearly state the following information:

Duration of Masters: Three to four years
Residency Program Duration: Three to four years

These durations must be explicitly mentioned in your documentation, along with the corresponding dates.

Title Upgrade Examination

Physicians who are approved for Upgrading from Specialist to consultant will have a six-month duration starting from the initial approval to go for three trails of examination within the period mentioned above, once ethe duration is exceeded the application will be auto rejected.

License Cancellation

As per The Department of Health Circular 2021/94 the healthcare facility must submit an application to cancel the valid licenses of healthcare professionals who left its facilities without any fail or further delays from the Last Day of the Healthcare Professional.

Online Mode of Studies

Online Mode of Studies is not excepted by DOH Guidelines no matter what country or specialty.

Applications for such mode will be rejected at all times.

GAP of Practice

In the event of a gap in practice caused by certain circumstances within a maximum period of one year, applicants are required to submit a handwritten and signed undertaking letter stating the reason for such a gap. Proof must be provided upon submission of their application.
